Out of Commission

Today, Mommy and I went to see Dr. Jeff for our 34 week appointment. Daddy was really bummed he couldn't make it, he had to work late.

Dr. Jeff has taken Mommy out of work due to her chronic pain and cramping. He's hoping that with us taking time off, Mommy can focus on relaxing and taking care of me!
Mommy's still having painful contractions, but the cervix is still closed, so she just gets to wait until I want to come out! Lucky HER!
Dr. Jeff also thinks that she has sciatica in her back, which is causing the back pain and shooting pains down her legs.
So, email us at home, we won't be at work for a long while.

A Baby Shower, for me?

Wow, there sure are a LOT of people who want to welcome me into the world!! Today, Mommy's Best Friend, and my Godmother, Amy, threw Mommy a baby shower.

There were so many people there!!

Another Ride

Mommy and I took another ride to the Birthing Center today because she was having contractions. We got all hooked up, and they were about 6 minutes apart. Once again, she wasn't dialating, so I'm not coming any time in the near future. Dr. Rondeau has decided against putting Mommy back on bedrest for now. He says to take one day at a time and see how we feel.

Back to Work, Again!

Mommy and I got approval to go back to work today from Dr. Rondeau. Mommy’s cervix is still closed, so he doesn’t think I’m coming into the world anytime in the next couple weeks. He gave Mommy more drugs to stop the contractions. All we have to do now is take a trip into the Birthing Center if she’s having more than six contractions per hour.
Thanks for all of the love and support, Mommy and I appreciate it.
