SPLISH SPLASH, My First Bath

Cousin Lucie reminded me that I haven't posted any pictures of my first bath so here ya are cuz.

I didn't mind the water, until it was on my head. I really liked when Mommy massaged my head with soap but I hated that water on my head. Maybe I'll learn to like baths someday but for now, I think I despise them.

Gosh, Mommy really likes this camera thing, huh? Why didn't anyone warn me?
Here are a couple that she just couldn't wait to get online.
I had my first Nurse visit today and I'm now at 7 lbs. 4 oz.

We're Home!

And Mommy wants company, so call or stop on by, we'd love to see you! Thank you to everyone who came and visited us in the hospital. I can't believe all of the people who couldn't wait to meet me!!

Mommy ended up taking the picture, because our nurse couldn't get a "clear" picture. I must say, she does have some photographic talent.
I did gain 3 oz. before coming home, so I'm eating good too!

That's the update for today, we got home safe and sound, despite the nasty hot weather outside! I just got done eating, so I think me and the parents are going to try to sleep for the night. I slept almost all day, so I think Mommy's hoping I sleep tonight too.
Daddy has to go back to work tomorrow. We'll miss him!

I'M HERE!!

Well, I'M HERE!!! The doctors and technicians were right, I am a boy. My name is Aiden Lee. I was born at 7:39 p.m. on Sunday, July 22nd. I was 6 lbs. 15.6 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. Mommy's happy that my head was nice and small at 13 3/4 inches. My brothers were at Grandma and Grandpa's for a visit, I really wish they could have been here, but it sounds like I get to meet them today. We'll update some more pictures later, but here's a few so you can see how handsome I am already. Look at all of my hair!! Daddy's jealous.

STILL Waiting!

Well, Mommy's appointment went well today. The ultrasound shows that I'm 7 lbs. and 7 oz. right now and measuring where I should be, so no plans on making me come sooner. Mommy still isn't dialated but the cervix is soft, so it's a start! Dr. Rondeau is on vacation next week, so we'll see Rynell next week instead.

So, more waiting... hope to see everyone soon.

Getting BIGGER!

So, Rynell, our Nurse Practitioner is concerned about my size.
Like Mommy, she thinks that I've grown a lot this past week. Because of this, Mommy has another ultrasound scheduled for next week to make sure everything is okay. Then her, Daddy and Dr. Jeff will make a decision to make me come sooner or not.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a very busy 4th of July. Today, Daddy took my brothers to the movie, Transformers, while I stayed home with Mommy to rest. When they got home, we went to Grandpa Rod's old house to swim. Then we had supper, and went over to Heather and Chris Vanyo's new house to let off fireworks. They were so loud, but we had lots of fun!
We hope everyone enjoyed their 4th and was safe!!
